Hosted by the Collingwood Public Library the event pitted five libraries against each other in a battle to determine the best book. As the biggest book debate in the Georgian Bay region, the event delivered on its promise providing the audience with an evening of lively discussion, big laughs and great Canadian books.
Veteran participant Mariane McLeod, news director of 97.7 FM The Beach, brought home the trophy for Wasaga Beach. Her winning selection is Fall on Your Knees by Ann-Marie MacDonald. McLeod will moderate next year’s event.
Participating libraries included: Blue Mountains, Clearview, Collingwood, Meaford and Wasaga Beach.
